Following on from the robust activity witnessed in 2017, demand was steady in the Cork industrial market in Q1. Take up levels were down with an appetite for smaller sized deals evident in the quarter. In spite of this, demand for units greater than 1,000 sqm in prime locations close to road networks remains strong with an increasing requirement for larger units. However, supply is limited and with building costs still greater than capital values, there are no speculative developments under construction.
