The strong demand witnessed in the Cork office market in the opening quarter continued into the subsequent three month period, particularly for high quality modern space. The amount of available accommodation declined further and consequently, the overall Cork vacancy rate fell. Following robust activity in Q1 2017 (6,250 sqm), take-up remained at good levels in Q2. Approximately 4,550 sqm was transacted with an average deal size of 650 sqm.
