Lisney and Lambert Smith Hampton negotiate deal which sees leading outdoor goods retailer added to impressive line-up at Magherafelt complex. The opening of the new store has created five new jobs at the Magherafelt retail complex.
Trespass has taken a prime 2,200 sq ft unit adjacent to River Island, New Look, and the recently refurbished Costa.
The centre is under the ownership of EML Meadowlane Ltd and is home to an impressive portfolio of retailers including Dunnes Stores, Holland & Barrett, Boots, O2, Poundland and Iceland.
Welcoming the arrival, which has created five new jobs are, from left, Tony Kernan, Associate Director at Lambert Smith Hampton, Andrew Knox, Surveyor, Lisney and centre manager Gareth Thomas.
Andrew Knox, Surveyor at Lisney Belfast, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome Trespass to Meadowlane and help facilitate the chain’s expansion in Northern Ireland.
“I’m confident this will be a huge success for Trespass as the scheme continues to trade strongly with our retailers reporting excellent levels of business. A number of retailers have extended their commitment to the scheme such as Boots, Costa and Holland & Barrett, as well as newcomers Koo Koo Kids and Munchies opening new stores.”
Jonathan McKinney, Asset Manager at EML Meadowlane Ltd, said:
“The arrival of Trespass has built upon a strong retail line up which is already home to many household retail brands. Trespass is an important letting which continues the recent momentum of deals.
“We are looking forward to announcing additional lettings soon, with our agents engaged in advanced negotiations with other exciting retailers.”
Tony Kernan, Associate Director at Lambert Smith Hampton, added:
“I’m happy to welcome Trespass to Magherafelt as Meadowlane continues to go from strength to strength. The opening of Trespass further extends the retail offering within the scheme, providing for a sector which was previously unrepresented in the centre.”
