Lloyd Hannigan, Chartered Surveyor at Lisney Belfast, commented:

“The shortage of Grade A office space in Belfast has been well documented and we welcome any new stock coming online which will help to alleviate the current supply demand deficit. We have been enthused by the level of initial interest, both from indigenous and FDI occupiers.

“Northern Court is consistent with the ongoing trend of new office products being offered via refurbished buildings which will continue to bridge the gap while the development pipeline gathers momentum.

“The landlord of the building is encouraged by the current health of the city centre office market and as a result has taken the decision to refurbish the building on a speculative basis. Given the accessible location of the building and the proximity to the City Hall we would hope that a relatively short marketing period will be required to secure tenants for the available space”.
