Head of Investment Funds, Investment
Hugh is Head of Investment Funds in Lisney's Head Office in St Stephen's Green House, where he specialises in providing valuations and advice to financial institutions.
Hugh has over 30 years' experience in the Dublin property market. He first joined Lisney in 1984, where he worked as a trainee surveyor. In 1989 he joined Aviva Ireland (then known as Norwich Union) where he spent the next 20 years, becoming head of their property investment portfolio. During this time, he was responsible for numerous important commercial property transactions and initiatives, and oversaw the growth in funds under management to Û1.5bn.
In 2010, Hugh joined the National Asset Management Agency where he headed a team in the Portfolio Management Department with responsibility for the take-on and management of several of the Agency's directly managed borrower 'connections'. In 2012, he was appointed to the Agency's newly-formed Asset Management Department as a Senior Asset Management.
At the end of 2014, Hugh rejoined Lisney, where he works in the Investment Department, with a particular focus on financial and institutional clients.
Hugh is a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) of the CFA.
