Nicholas O’Connell
Divisional Director, Cork Commercial
Nicholas O’Connell is a Divisional Director in our Cork office. Nicholas joined the Lisney Cork office in 2015. His role within Lisney involves the preparation of Red Book valuations for various types of commercial property and development land, for lending, accounting, receivership and acquisition purposes. Nicholas is also involved in the disposal and acquisition of commercial property and assisting with the preparation of marketing strategies on behalf of clients.
Nicholas began gaining work experience in the government’s Valuation Office, dealing with the valuation of commercial properties for statutory rating purposes. Nicholas currently undertakes valuation work for numerous clients including Yew Grove REIT PLC, Bank of Ireland, AIB, and Cork City Council, and has prepared evidence and presented it at the Valuation Tribunal.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Property Valuation and Management. He is an RCIS Registered Valuer and is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
