Lisney was appointed as sole sales agent for 2.02 hectares (5 Acres) of prime land at Botanic Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9.

The property was ‘ready-to-go’ with planning permission for 119 residential units and potential for further development of another 19 units taking into account the new regulations of Dublin City Council (subject to planning permission). The land was Zoned Objective Z1 Residential and future infrastructural improvements included the Phoenix Park Rail Tunnel and the LUAS Cross City stop on the North Circular Road is due for completion in 2017.  The site previously formed the southern part of former Printworks/ Smurfit site on Botanic Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9 and access is directly off Botanic Road. Botanic Road and the adjoining Iona Road are some of the most sought after residential roads on the north side of the city.

Lisney executed a national marketing and advertising campaign across print and digital media. Due to the scale of the opportunity, it attracted the top tier residential developers seeking to commence construction immediately on a site that offers good economies of scale. Lisney’s careful management of the single stage process resulted in a winning  bid in excess of €17.8m being accepted. The sale closed in Q1, 2017.
