Tips on Letting
- Externally, ensure that the gardens are landscaped and well maintained.
- Check paintwork and ensure that the gutters and roof are in good condition.
- Clear out the garage.
- Internally, discard clutter and store surplus items.
- Check the floor coverings, ensure that they are clean and discard any badly stained carpets.
- Ensure that curtains are properly hung and clean.
- Ensure that all appliances have been serviced.
- Make sure bathrooms have good ventilation to avoid build-up of mildew. Pressure showers are considered essential.
- Check that the grout is spotlessly clean.
- Supply contemporary furniture.
- Ensure beds are comfortable. Always check mattresses and cover with protectors.
- Provide bedside lockers and lamps.
- Ensure that both the black and green refuse bins are in situ.
