Investment – Bank of Ireland Retail Portfolio

Lisney recently handled the sale of a portfolio of seven retail banking branches let to the Bank of Ireland with between thirteen and twenty-three years unexpired under the leases for approximately €30 million. This is the biggest investment transaction of the first half of 2009. The properties were located in good main street positions in Dublin, Cork, Athlone, Newbridge and Dundalk. The sales were completed at initial yields in the range between 6.5% and 7.5%.
